I purchased this chandelier and had it shipped to South America so not possible returns. The description of the product does not specify what type of light bulb it uses. It uses light bulbs with a smaller screw socket than normal and the shades hold on to the glass of the light bulb itself. I am not saying it is bad but you can only use incandescent light bulbs with this design.
